Red River Inn Alexandria

Good for a quick overnight stay when you just need to get off the road and have a few hours of sleep and a shower. Definitely could use a lot of renovation, but for the super low price, it was a reasonable alternative to spending twice as much at a chain. The room was clean, the AC was super cool and the water was hot. Furniture was a bit beat, but adequate for our needs since we were only looking for a place to crash. I felt safe there...no sign of any derelicts that I could see. If you’re flexible and tolerant, you’ll be satisfied.

A reasonable price for a nice motel room in February. We had our dog with us, but the lady at the desk did not charge us extra, even though we told her we had a small dog. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room was very clean. When you first look at this motel you will probably get turned off by it, but it turned out to be a very nice place to stay. No breakfast was served.

The hotel is dated, but it is clean. I stay in hotels 4-5 days a week and clean beats fancy any day. The staff is great and you are close to many great places to eat. If I am back through here will most assuredly stay again. No coffee in Rooms but I have those singles and heated some water in the microwave. Pretty quiet first stay was on the weekend this one has been through the week. All in all can't go wrong
