I came to town for a seminar. Due to a concert this was the only room available. First off I had to talk to the clerk through a half inch of glass intercoms are a thing now. We head up to the room and the pool looks like the Swamp Thing lives in it. The room smelled damp. The mirror that should of been on the bathroom door was a missing it looked like it was smashed in a fight. I came to this conclusion because of what appeared to be a bloodstain on the wall behind it. There was an old wash cloth hanging from the shower rod. The refrigerator had mold I was not going tempt fate and open that microwave. What really did it in was the roaches on the walls we noped out of there the next morning. We opted to head up to Meridian MS that evening versus staying there the second night. If you had a choice between staying here or a hobo camp choose the hobo camp it would be cheaper.

We stayed here the last week of April due to there being no other hotels throughout the city from a large event that was taking place. When we got to our room, the door was loose and barely locked. The room smelled like old furniture and mold. The air conditioner was blowing warm air. There was a chair beside the bathroom that had stains on it. The shower curtain smelled like wet clothes that had been sitting out. We also noted a noticeable gap between the door and frame that easily allowed any air to flow out. Two of the lamps didn’t work. When we glanced over at the pool, it had clearly not been cleaned in months. The water was a dark green and had trash in and around the pool. The sidewalks on the balcony leading to and from the room had bits of trash everywhere. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean environment for a good nights rest, this motel is NOT it. The ONLY reason we stayed was due to there not being anymore suitable hotels left in the city and the other people checking in seemed to be desperate for a place to stay as well. Absolutely despicable for $110 a night.

There are NO WORDS to describe the filth and rundown conditions of this facility. Choice Hotels should not list this place as part of their chain. ONLY stay here if there is an apocalyptic meltdown in progress and this is the only spot to stay inside to shelter yourself from nuclear meltdown exposure and zombies!
