Hampton Inn Convington/Mandeville

Worst experience ever. My bed had dog/cat hair all over. I was itching the whole night and couldn't even sleep 1 hr the whole night. And the smell was terrible. Again it was the worst of the worts.

I stay at hampton inns all the time . This stay was a one night pit stop just to rest up to drive to my vacation. My number one complaint was the mattress. It was rock hard . And breakfast was below average for a Hampton inn breakfast. The staff was great, parking was great . I didn’t realize this small town is busy and has a lot of traffic. Are there places to eat near by ? “ yes” and yes you will need your car to get to them . Long story short , i doubt i would return.

Prior ecpectation that Hampton Inn’s affiliation with Hilton meant decent standards are met. Not so anymore. This is a franchised location not corporate. Front desk individual pretty abrupt on check in. Checked in room; very dark not a lot of lighting. Tile floor at entry slippery. Furnishings outdated. Found roach in bed front desk person not empathetic said when wet they come in from adjacent woods. Switched room; thermostat not operating and outlets by bed dead and couldn’t connect cpap. Terrible experience shame on that operator!
