Best Western Denham Springs Inn

INFESTED WITH German Roaches!!!! As soon as I walked in a roach crawled on the pillow on top of the bed! One on the floor and one on the wall by tv! In less than 5 minutes , stay away from here !!

Horrible experience, I had stayed here before and with my cats and thought well I will try this place again. The owner was very indifferent meaning her attitude was like a roll coaster. When we checked in we were talking about how young my daughter looks, and I commented that she was young looking too and she and really liked that. Next day I said she looked tried, and then she said tried, don't I look beautiful. I said, yes, and she said, you are just staying that. Then she tells me we owe for our room we paid $145.00 we thought for two days and our account was charged $161.00. She would not look at our bank account and said are we going to pay for the night or is she calling the cops, and we already had a room booked for Monday as we thought we had sat and sun paid for so to not disturb our family we moved Mondays date to Sunday. When we went down Monday we had no problem for Monday to Tuesday she was not there so we booked Tuesday to wed, and then she was back Wed to Thurs and now our room smells and her cracked head acting white maid that lives with the maintenance guy on sight says it smelled. We asked her to come up, but she won't until Ms crack head told her to, but would not come in the room, and the cracked head white maid (aka Karen) goes it smells and would not come in the room and the owner lady told me that me and my daughter smell too, I never. I would not stay here they are not pet friendly some people who work here have mental health issues. Also, they are the only ones who will not open there pool and they refuse to serve breakfast cause of COVID-19 still and they have roaches

Traveling for Thanksgiving and had to take what was available. Room was spartan in the extreme - no lamps! - just overhead can lights giving the room all the ambience of a DMV waiting area. Watch out for the bugs! No breakfast although I doubt I would have eaten anything had it been available. Several sketchy characters lurking around the parking lot. $150 a night was about two-thirds too high for this dump.
