My friend and I booked the same deal, and while her room was fine, my room was so awful that I slept in her room instead. My room was covered in white splatter stains (hopefully paint??), the trash on the ground made it clear that the room had not been vacuumed, it smelled like musty cigarettes, there was a spider in the bed, a Folgers lid instead of a ceiling light in the bathroom (creative), used napkins near the bed, burn holes in the bedding, paint on the bedspread, cobwebs by the door, the sink was cracked, screws instead of drawer pulls, and a general bad vibe.
However, I give the place 2 stars instead of 1 because my friend’s room was decently clean and fine. There was still wear and tear and the room wasn’t perfect, but her room was decent, clean, and reasonable for what she paid for.
The staff seemed sweet, and I didn’t get to my room until late, so I didn’t complain to the front desk about it or make a fuss. I appreciate the little breakfast they give too. I recognize that it isn’t a 5 star resort or anything and you get what you pay for, but I still think that I deserve a clean room.

It’s a really hard one to review. The room was clean (I mean the beds and sheets, like brand new;-), the bathroom 👍🏻, I disliked the carpet on the floor - to me it’s never clean… When we turned on the AC it smelled like rot and mildew… so we turned it off and kept the door open as long as we could. The building itself is run down and there are visible cracks in the floors (my son felt like it wasn’t very safe;-). The pool was turned into a tomato planter… It looked like the building had seen better days…The staff was nice. The location was good, there’s a Starbucks in a walking distance. On the whole I feel like it wasn’t worth the money.

this is our new spot. I do a ton of festivals up in Lafayette, so I visit often, and this was a gem we found. lots of space in the rooms, and comfy beds, and nice garden area where the pool used to be. walking distance from starbucks, a bakery, tcoons, Everyone who works here is happy and helpful.
