La Quinta Inn Causeway

The room was very old. Broken drawers. Mold on the tub. Door would only stay closed if the deadbolt was engaged. Very noisy traffic. Elevator was broken. Ice machine was broken. Breakfast was decent. It was Mardi Gras so everythng else was booked or we would have checked out and left. We had reseervations for 2 days before a cruise and 2 days after. We canceled our reservation for the following week.

When I arrive at reception I am informed that my reservation is canceled even though my reservation is still active in the Wyndham application (probably due to overbooking because the hotel is full) I did not receive an email no text messages or calls to inform me before moving, it's 7 p.m. I'm alone with my 3-year-old daughter without any accommodation for the evening. I do not recommend this place even if I have not stayed in the hotel I have seen enough not to recommend it

This hotel needs to be shut down!!! We booked this hotel for a one night stay and I promise you that’s was way to long. First off the room smelled like mold, there was rat turds on the window seals and ac unit, mold on the walls under the sink, the white comforter and sheet were brown like they hadn’t been washed, pulled the sheets off to check for bed bugs and the mattresses had stains on them as well. The entire parking lot has pot holes in it, the entire outside of the building smelled like a trash can. Extremely, extremely, extremely NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!
