Audubon Cottages

Wow! This place is a paradise in the French Quarter. A block or so off the crazy streets it is has a slow southern feel. The cottages are so lovely. We didn't get to use the pool, way too cold, but we did sit and soak up some sun in early February. Shawn, the manager is the most lovely person and the most service oriented hotel manager I have ever met. He is like a magician. whatever you need he is there. I can't say enough. He is 10 stars!!! I highly recommend the cottages. Fabulous stay Wonderful cottages.

A wonderful alternative to staying at a large hotel, conveniently located in the French Quarter. Even though you are only one block away from Bourbon Street, you will be transported to a beautiful sanctuary as you walk through the front door to your private space and flower gardens. Cottage Three was spacious, quiet, and beautifully appointed with antique furniture and artwork. Shawn our butler was very pleasant, attentive and responsive. If you are considering a large hotel chain, think twice and come here instead, you will not regret it!

We had 5 wonderful nights at the Audubon Cottages, the rooms are spacious and luxurious. Large comfortable bed and a compact but very functional ensuite. Also tea and coffee facilities and a bar fridge, which wasn’t stuffed with overpriced beverages which was very nice. The location just one street away from Bourbon street was fantastic made walking everywhere in the French Quarter so easy. The pool and little courtyard was lovely place to relax and cool off after a day of being a tourist. The Butler Sean was the most helpful member of staff we encountered on our whole USA trip and a credit to the organisation. Would recommend to any one wanting a central location without the faceless “chain” hotels. Here you feel like a friend visiting where nothing is too much trouble. The selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance means there is so much choice to be had. Thanks to the Audobon and staff for making New Orleans a fantastic part of our holiday.
