Hotel all ok, excellent location, good breakfast, staff
available, clean environment, they always changed the towels.
The only flaw, we stayed for a week and in the room they only
emptied the trash cans without changing the sheets or cleaning
the room.
Only on the last day, after pointing it out to the manager, they
cleaned it.
Surely they didn't do it on purpose, but we didn't find a
t-shirt.
Another thing is that I had to use various private SUVs to
get around New Orleans, private, nothing to do with the facility.
where we were staying.
On the last day, the driver was more than 20 minutes late and we had to
go to the airport; luckily, outside this facility
there were some SUVs parked, so we solved it ourselves
because the reception staff was indifferent to our concern.
Final comment: in the French Quarter, right in the heart
of the city, there are much better 4-star hotels where we were
able to organize all our trips outside of our facility.
On top of everything, like all the facilities, they wanted a deposit of
200 dollars that even after a week have not
been credited yet.
My final comment, having traveled all over the world in many
hotels, I do not recommend this one, also due to the issue of organization that you can have with higher-rated hotels, which in this
city you really need, believe me.
Anyway, to conclude, knowing the Holiday Inn chain, they are not all like this, just for the sake of fairness.
It remains, however, a unique and very beautiful city.

This would have been 1-star but I’ll give them 2 because they did try to make amends and their breakfast team were stellar.
Arrival was when the hell began. A reception clerk who clearly didn’t want to be there and didn’t welcome me, even as an IHG member. The management had elected to host a “fraternity” for the weekend. Wouldn’t you think you’d put the arrogant, entitled frat boys away from other guests? No, they put signs around the hotel pleading with them to behave and distributed the rest of us all around them.
I arrived at my room to find a big pile of vomit adjacent to my door and the door was so out of alignment that it was jammed shut. In the middle of the night I had to yell at vile drunk frat boys in the corridor who had started an after party there rather than take it into their rooms.
The rooms themselves were filthy. When a bit of water from the shower got in the floor, I went to wipe it up with a tissue and it ended up black.
Never would I stay at this place again. While they made a gesture by offering points in compensation which I did appreciate, I then had to follow this up a week later and ask why they were still holding onto a whopping $100 security deposit.
Never again would I stay at this establishment. I’d be crazy to after that experience.

Nice quiet pool that is largely shaded in the blazing Louisiana sun, a good little gym too, great breakfast that alternates each morning, wonderfully helpful staff. Very close to Bourbon Street. A great option if you don't want to be right in the thick of the action but a few blocks walk to the action!
