Inn on St Ann

Save your money, traveler. Spend it on a hotel who cares about your comfort and safety. We were asked to sign a “rental agreement” giving all financial and DL info upfront and to download an app rather than given hotel or room keys. Ok, we’d try it. We didnt know we’d never see a single hotel employee for the entire length of our stay. No one to show us where our room was located. No one to assist us when the coffee maker in our room malfunctioned. No one to speak to when someone entered our room at 4 am - when supposedly it was locked. Of course the deadbolt didnt work. No one to check us out. We simply left at the designated time. The hotel can only be accessed with the app on your phone. Your room can only be accessed by the app. Lose your phone, battery die, you’re SOL. We let more than one guest into the hotel because they didnt have access to their app. Why? NO STAFF. Empty front desk. Deserted hallways. Dead silent. Housekeeping was the only saving grace. The room was clean, except the mirrors were smudged and never cleaned. After we left, I completed the hotel’s survey and was promptly contacted by a general manager ready to address the issues…but never heard from him again after his initial email. In sixteen years of vacationing in the French Qtr, this is the first poor review we’ve ever left for a hotel establishment, and we’ve stayed all over the quarter. I will say this…At least they are consistent.

Great location next to Armstrong Park and in the French Quarter, but lots of humidity and pretty clean establishment. Then I advise you to spend no more than three days and very often there is no window in the rooms. So for us French it’s no brightness and air-conditioning at all, it feels weird.

If you visit NOLA, you need to stay here. Amazing room with an amazing view. The room was spacious and had a huge balcony. The room had NOLA vibes throughout. The staff I spoke with were all very courteous and helpful. My only regret was not staying there the whole time I was in town, but now I know where to stay the next time I come into town. I’m very much looking forward to visiting again.
