I've been to NOLA many times and it's like my second home, but it was my first time staying at the Inn on Ursuline's, my favorite block in the quarter. The room and the courtyard were nice, and the staff were great. The French Quarter Guest Houses also have three other nice properties, the Inn on Saint Peter, the Inn on Saint Anne and the Lamothe House on Esplanade. All are very reasonably priced considering the great location. Highly recommended and I'll be back since I know what it means to miss New Orleans!

We have stayed here many times in 15 years. We love the location. I was very disappointed with the modern "updates". It was so nice before. Why would you take an old charming, classic & update it with cheap furniture? I would have put more time & money into improving the courtyard. How about some flowers? 3 days and no maid service. I don't care, but how about more than 2 bath towels? Sorry, sad but true

For the rate it charged, I would have expected more. If the rate was lower, I wouldn't mind giving it a higher rating. No proper check-in area. No proper luggage storage area. The room was basic. With basic amenities. Not even a toothbrush and toothpaste. No kettle. Not even a chair or small sofa to sit in the room except the bed. The AC was not working properly. I even think that my room was haunted as the lights switched off by itself twice, and tv was on one time by itself when I was in the toilet. I told the receptionist about it.
