Cromwell Harbor Motel

Joy truly lived up to her name. She was an absolute joy to work with, warm, caring, attentive, and dedicated to making sure everything was just right. You could definitely feel a sense of pride in the way the motel was cared for, clearly reflecting its being family owned and run. The hotel was immaculate and very well maintained. Our room was meticulously clean and comfortable, and we could tell a lot of care went into taking care of the property. We really appreciated Joy’s genuine care and we would gladly stay here again.

Reasonably priced comparatively to others and within walking distance of downtown. The staff was friendly and the rooms were large and clean.

We truly loved this! We were greeted by Joy, who, like her name, was a joy. The amazing thing is that it's nice, quiet, with lovely rooms, grounds, and an outdoor pool...but just walking distance to the busy heart of Main Street and the waterfront! Children and pets aren't allowed (Bar Harbor seems to have more dogs than people!), but if that's not a drawback for you, I highly recommend it!
