I really enjoyed the location, room, cleanliness, service. The employees that I encountered were very friendly and helpful! So nice!!!! I liked the simplicity of the hotel! I felt safe, comfortable and would differently return to this location.

I'm giving this place 5 stars. Not because it's a luxury hotel, or has a pool or a gym or a fancy breakfast--but because it still, even without those things--earns 5 stars. I came to Brunswick to drop my son off at college. He's there with financial aid so I am not one of the parents who can afford the super expensive hotels (of which there are several) in the area. I found Travelers Inn, which is much more affordable, and one of my main requirements is cleanliness. Every review mentioned how clean it is, so I was sold. I have a little queen room and it's perfect. It's somewhat dated (although not overly), the air conditioner is a little loud (I sleep with an air purifier at home and it reminds me of that - more like white noise from the air blowing, not loud motor noise), but it works extremely well. And this place is CLEAN. Spotless, particularly the bathroom--SPOTLESS. Everything works, the door has a bolt lock and a chain lock (not that I feel like I need it here), there's plenty of lighting and tons of outlets. A blow dryer, iron and board, big TV, really everything you could need. The bed is super comfy!! I feel cozy and snug as a bug here. And the people working here are soooo nice. Family-owned, which I love supporting in this day and age of everything being corporation-owned. It's 5 min from Bowdoin, if that's why you are here. And a 2-3 block walk from a Breez stop if you want to go to Portland but don't have a car (which works great for me because I'm taking it to Portland to get to the airport). Breakfast is minimal, but sufficient and free, and the coffee is decent. And this place is affordable, even during the busy college drop-off week in August. I will absolutely be returning to this sweet, quaint inn and making this my go-to place when coming up to Bowdoin while my son is in college. If you are looking for a Hilton, this isn't for you. If you want cozy, clean, comfortable, friendly, affordable, and family-owned, this is your place. You will not regret it.

An excellent stay! Spotlessly clean spacious rooms! A friendly, helpful and thoughtful staff. A very nice continental breakfast was provided and the location is convenient to exploring the area.
