Kennebunkport Inn

Quaint Inn, great location. Our room was nicely decorated however could use some TLC. We faced the street and it was a bit noisy in the morning. Staff was very nice.

Very disappointed in the condition of the hotel. Had pics from 10 years ago vs our most recent stay. Very sad condition. I guess the owners have decided not to invest in basic upkeep. Such a crime for what was a beautiful hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Leaks, paint peeling, holes in facade, carbon/smoke build-up on outside fireplace…owners should have some pride in ownership. If you can’t afford it, sell it and let someone else care for this treasure.

Perhaps it was the night we were there, the week before the 4th of July that accounted for the $600 price... which we were happy to pay thinking we'd get comensurate value. At it turns out, our $600 room was tucked away in the back and right on the street. It was very dark and I'm not kidding, 12 inches from our windows to the street. It was bad enough overnight with cars going by, but when the garbage trucks came barreling through at 6:00 am I knew I had no choice but to write a review alerting folks to steer clear of room 301. Yes, this Inn is charming and breakfast was adequate, but the location right in town that to some is a blessing is also a curse when it comes to the noise. Or, maybe it was just room 301. In any case, we felt royally ripped off. To spend $600 only to have to listen to cars coming and going all night along with the garbage trucks at 6 am. Yeah, not happy.
