I should have known I made a bag decision when my family didn't know of this place. My door handle had a handwritten note covered in tape that said that it only worked in one direction. Mold in the bathroom, and it was just kind of dirty all together. Bathroom light was in the disco mood and wasn't very bright. The shower curtain was disgusting. Next time I am in Lexington, I will not be staying there!

Multi state road trip with friend & we stopped in Lexington due to tire blowout. It was in the evening & we stayed here because the tire shop could not mount new tire until the following morning. Keep in mind Super 8's are what I consider a budget chain so don't expect anything fancy. That being said, this was a nice visit. I booked the hotel off my phone using the Wyndham website & got a discount. The location was good with easy off I-80 highway access. At check in we were promptly greeted by Coleen who was very nice. We got a room at the back of the property (quiet with little to no highway noise). There was plenty of parking. The room was very clean & the beds were comfortable. I didn't bother with internet access. Bathroom was clean, but did have a minor gripe--the showerhead could have been higher. I'm not super tall, but if you're washing your hair you might have to duck a bit... I've noticed this at several hotels. Don't know why they set up the shower for someone who is 5', 6". Check out was smooth & easy. They do serve a light breakfast in the area next to the front desk. I did not take advantage of that because I was full from a wonderful dinner @ Kirk's Nebraskaland Restaurant next door!

The gal that checked us in on the evening of Sept 6 was terrific - she just had issues with the equipment she was provided. The room key making machine wouldn't work for her so we stood at the counter for a LONG time waiting for room keys. Room No. 1 for us was extremely smoky smelling that we had to get a different room right off the bat. The second room for us was better altho we still had to open the window for fresh air - but the screens are all torn so we were worried about bugs getting in. The TV was out and my husband had to redo all the wiring from the modem to get it up and running. When I plugged the hair dryer in on the morning of the 7th, the end with the plug completely fell apart in my hands so I had to go to my daughter's room to use her hair dryer (as the gal on the morning of Sept 8th was sound asleep wrapped up in a blanket at a desk behind the counter.) I did bring the hair dryer up to her when she woke up and was on her phone, I laid it on the counter and told her what room it came from. She never said one word and never approached the counter. Unbelievable.
Room 2 for my daughter - shower curtain rod is practically falling out of the wall. There was long hair all over the bathroom floor and a black hand print on the shower wall. This room had never been cleaned. There was no toilet paper on the roll but there was an extra roll so I guess you squeaked by with that one.
There were either cigarette burns or ink all over the comforters in our rooms. This place is in need of a serious rehab and not worth the $100 I had to pay for each room, I have consistently stayed at Super 8s but as a rewards member, sadly disappointed and not worth that money. The breakfast is dismal and we couldn't wait to get out of there
