Holiday Inn Washington D.C. - Greenbelt Maryland

Disgusting hotel, flop house drug palace. Smells like weed when you walk in. Mens 2 toilets in lobby restroom was clogged with poo. Tile ripped up in lobby. Hall carpet on 3rd floor stained ripped with blue tape. Doors to room gapped,no inside lock. Beds tagged 10 inches in middle. Adjoining room unsafe lock. No phone available in room. Smells like weed. Nasty. No hairdryer. Sign on elevators said No sprinkler system or Fire alarms in service. Adjoining room had police there at midnight you can hear all the carrying on subsequent knocks on their door throughout night. Never been in a place that was this horrible ever. Front desk gentleman was nice. Only stayed 1 night and went to lovely Crown Plaza. No lightning outside when entering.

This is not a hotel that should even be on the market to stay at under the Holiday Inn brand. While the front desk service was lovely the rest of the experience was terrible. There were roaches in the room, bathroom, furniture, and carpet was old, broken, and dirty. I have stayed in better motels than this! It did not feel clean or up to date even if under renovation. This hotel should not be made available for guests until it is fully gutted and renovated!!

I stayed October 25 and checked out the 26th, 2025 and it was the worst experience i have ever had at a hotel. In the hotels defense they had construction going on, but this still should not happen. I did not sleep well because the room had roaches, yes you heard me roaches. i saw 4 during my stay and one of thoses ended up IN THE REFRIGERATOR, how does that happen. I went to get some food i brought in earlier that night and when i opened the door, it was looking back at me. Also, the toilets are for tottlers, they are not adult size, it was just a horrible stay and i was so disappointed. I have stayed here before some years ago so i assumed it was still good. NEVER AGAIN at this location. But the staff was very attentive and pleasant. You would think though with my experiece they would have taken off the charge, NO they took off the taxes thats it ..... WOWWWWWWWWW
