BRIDGESTREET SPINNAKER BAY

Terrible business operations - arrived for reservation made in Jan 2015 to be told they were moving us to "another building" . This location was selected because it is walking distance to the Convention Center. Sent to a property that ends up being 6x as far from the Convention Center. Terrible traffic jam getting there and if it had taken another 20 minutes to get there we would not have been able to get a second key because the office closes at 7 pm. Meanwhile discussions with Orbitz (made the reservation through them) get nowhere because the corporate office closes at 5 pm and the in property staff know nothing - not even what the cost of a second parking sticker would be (turns out, it seems, that you can't get a second sticker at all - really helpful considering that there is absolutely no parking available where they sent us (Canton section of Baltimore). Property staff says regarding the overbooking of this property "It happens all the time". The in building staff also knows nothing about what is now an over charge to our credit card (put through a week before arrival - again without any prior warning). The Bridgestreet web site says the same apartment in the new building is over $100 less for our stay...... They also claimed that they tried to inform us of the change but that never happened - no call and no email from them - they couldn't care less that the added distance creates chaos for the weekend - I and colleagues always walk back and forth to the Con - some need the quiet during the day to work on materials for the Con - All in all horrible customer service all around.....dishonest too!

My spouse and I spent five weeks and made this place our home away from home. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the nearby shopping and restaurants, as well as the beautiful view from our room. We had a few maintenance issues that were corrected within a few hours of us reporting. Management provided a very nice continental breakfast for Valentine's Day....thoughtful!!

This is our 4th week at Spinnaker Bay. Due to my fiances surgery, we needed the extra time for rehab & recovery. The building is large but once you learn to maneuver, it's a breeze! Everything is nearby! I had the luxury of walking the Promenade alongside the harbor (which is app. 8 miles if you wish to do it all). Shopping, restaurants, museums..it's all nearby. Spinnaker Bay is not a hotel. They're condos and apartments, so don't expect a valet to take your luggage. It's very clean, the pool is on the 8th floor and amazing & there's a lifeguard from 10AM-9PM. Gorgeous view of the harbor up there with benches to chat! The Inner Harbor area is safe and patrolled consistently. Great place for the money!
