Quality Inn Downtown Baltimore

Our experience with the valet parking service at SpringHill Suites by Marriott was extremely disappointing. We left our car with the valet, trusting that both our vehicle and our luggage would be safe. However, when the car was returned to us, we found that our suitcases had been opened. Several toiletry bags that should have been inside the suitcases were loose in the trunk, and after checking our luggage, we realized that several toiletry bags were missing. We simply do not understand how this could happen when guests are expected to trust the valet with the keys to their car. The whole point of using valet parking is to have peace of mind, but instead we found that our luggage had been tampered with and some of our belongings had disappeared. This is completely unacceptable. We hope the hotel thoroughly investigates this incident and improves its security procedures so that no other guest has to go through a similar experience.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and used the valet parking service offered by the hotel. When we collected our car, we discovered that two of the suitcases we had left inside had been opened, and several personal belongings had been stolen. What made the experience even more disappointing was the hotel’s response. The reception staff were not helpful and distanced themselves from the incident, claiming that the valet parking service was a separate company. However, from a guest’s perspective, the valet service is presented as part of the hotel’s services, so we reasonably expected the hotel to take responsibility and assist us in resolving the issue. Instead, we were left to deal with the situation on our own, which was extremely frustrating and left us with a very poor impression of the hotel

We booked the two bedroom suite which is the largest suite we ever stayed in. It’s awesome for a family of 5 as both rooms are huge and have king size beds. Special shoutout to Ms King the manager for taking special care of us and giving us good advice in terms of sightseeing and also Lex for taking care of us as our valet.
