Place turned out to be more worn out than we had hoped. Owners clearly not keeping it up. Floor warped so bad to our room (Hollywood) that the door barely opens, faucets loose and very squeaky, loose shower spigot, needs repainting and fresh furniture throughout. Room was very large but tiny bathroom with no place to put anything or even hang a hand towel. Bed stuffed in tight area with less than 18 inches in front or on side. Should be moved to other area. bed sheet with hole. And there were less than 20% of rooms occupied so little excuse. Breakfast was supposed to be over easy eggs but got them heavily fried, otherwise phoned in with a giant bowl of 3 melting sticks of butter. Outdoors littered with broken down car and other junk, no gardens despite nice large piece of property.

The owners of this B and B are friendly although we were not shown anything beside our room at arrival, which was located in a downstairs wing. The room was not clean. There were cobwebs and dust under the bed and dresser, stained tabletop on coffee table. Sink was clean, bathtub not. No towel hooks in bathroom or elsewhere. The pillow on the bed smelled so bad I had to cover it with a towel, which fortunately, was clean.
The door to the room could barely open a couple of feet before getting stuck, and outside door lock was difficult as well. Other family members on the lower floor had similar difficulties. The upstairs bedrooms appeared to be better.
On the first floor there is a sitting room where we could gather as a family, but the air conditioning was turned off in the evening. During rainstorm, the ballroom ceiling leaked, which the owner said she had been trying to get fixed since March.
Owners did adjust breakfast time for us, which was considerate. Breakfast itself was average. Seasoned eggs, which were flavorful if somewhat watery. Must have had turkey in them because I had a bone in mine. Rest of breakfast included coffee, orange juice, blueberry pancakes, French toast, sausage and bacon on both days, with the addition of waffles on Sunday.
We stayed two nights at $115 each. We will see for sure when we actually receive a receipt.

First of all, the gentleman running the BnB couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Sometimes though, that's just not enough. This lovely home from the outside, needs some serious updating, cleaning, amenities and attention to detail.
