Ramada Plaza Hagerstown

Hotel is extremely run down - truly one of the worst I’ve stayed in, and I’ve travelled throughout the developing world. Wallpaper torn from walls (especially in the elevator), heated pool broken, halls smelled like weed, myriad of wires coming from the ceiling in offices, and furniture is worn, outdated, and/ or broken. It’s rare I leave a bad review, but this was surprisingly bad. Staff was very pleasant, although they were unable to address guests using weed on a non-smoking floor despite multiple complaints.

After a long 9 hour drive from Toronto, special thanks to Shawn for welcoming me, checking me in and giving me advice about things to do in Hagerstown. My wife and I had a great stay at this clean and roomy hotel. The rate was very reasonable and we will be returning on our next visit to this city.

Great stay, stayed 1 night on our way north. Very friendly staff. Room was clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Used to be the Ramada, changed hands in November. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay again
