Comfort Inn and Suites

My husband and I went to this Comfort Inn & Suites back in November and liked the accommodations and location so much when we went back to this area in North East, MD in March, we stopped again for 3 days. The place is located next to a truck stop so you'd think it would be loud, but honestly, I was quite surprised how nice and quiet the stay was. The place is clean and offers a very nice variety of breakfast items. You can't go wrong for the price as well. Big shout out to the staff who were all amazing, especially Ashley and Carol who were very helpful during our stay with our little dog. Thanks for everything. Looking forward to another stay in the next couple weeks.

This Comfort Inn is in a decent location, and even though it overlooks a truck stop, it wasn't noisy. The hotel was reasonably up to date and was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were no issues with the accommodations as a whole. It certainly isn't a luxury resort, but clean and comfortable. A few things they could have done better: We had trouble with our room keys. Even after reprogramming both cards, they didn't work correctly. Eventually, they gave us new cards, which worked (at least once - we were getting ready to leave so we only needed to get in the room one time with these cards). I don't know if this was isolated or a recurring problem. It was a minor inconvenience and for the most part the staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good, but the selection was a little on the light side. Eggs, biscuits with sausage gravy, dry cereal, 2 juices, coffee, yogurts, toast/bagels and fruit. One of the first hotels providing breakfast that didn't have waffles or pancakes. The breakfast host was pleasant, welcoming and attentive. The selection is definitely not a deal breaker, what was there was decent, but there is room for improvement here. Based on a one night stay, I would recommend this property and most likely will stay here again when my travels bring me to this area of MD.

This place is like a crackhouse... Doors not secure doors and loud music and smoking through the floor. Talked to manager and was told to find another place to stay if not happy here... Went out a secured door and other occupants put stone to keep door from closing. I notified receptionist and she stated don't worry about it because that's what smokers do for convenience.
