BONITA BEACH HOTEL

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is. The staff were friendly, rooms were very clean. Was nice to see that the room has a full size fridge. Only things that I would say needed some work were the TV’s(not the best reception and no guide to tell what channel was what) and the beds were not as comfortable as I would have hoped for. Ended up sleeping on the couch the two nights we were there. Great proximity to the beach, Just a short walk and it was nice because it wasn’t packed with people. Will definitely stay there again next time we go down.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival. The room was wonderful and beds were comfortable. The short walk to the beach was easy. Free parking was a plus. The downside was the housekeeping- had to request coffee be refilled, room was not vacuumed, dirty towels were taken and not replaced one day and strangest of all one day the staff only made one bed. When front desk was told it was not remedied. I hope this improves because the hotel itself was fantastic!

This was our second time coming to this hotel we saw they did a big renovation so we got excited and decided to come back and try it again. The paint and carpet look great but that’s all that was done. The toilet did not flush properly, AC in the room would not go below 78. The shower would drip 💧. Talked to the front desk and said the AC is normal to work like that, the toilet had an issue with the float so they just told us to hold it down the whole time so it can flush. But you think they would try and actually fix it or move us to a different room. The worst part was room service they never came to do our rooms we got up early to go to the beach at 9am got back around 3pm and nothing. The carts were in the hallway but never touched our room. Was told you have to ask every day to have it done. The cleaning person stopped by in the morning to see what we wanted done because they don’t have a regular routine I guess first time I had to ask to have exactly what I wanted done. Empty the trash, replace towels and restocked anything that needed to be. Said we are leaving in 30 minutes and the room would be all theirs. Came back at 4pm and nothing was done. Had to go to front desk to get towels and stuff and ran into the cleaning lady asked what happened and said sorry they did come right up and do a quick cleaning but the next 3 days nothing and we just gave up. The front desk would just say sorry but never actually did anything. We are not hard people to make happy but staying at a hotel you have expectations that you would expect to be done during a week stay. The room size and overall hotel is actually nice. They seem to have a mismanaged staff because they were working all the time but who ever lays the work out seems to be dropping the ball. The room was clean when we first checked in. Front desk was smooth and easy checking in and out. Just need to get more cleaning staff or better management to make sure they get to all the rooms. Asked many times to talk to a manager but was never around and they did not do or offerer to do anything. Horrible management.
