Islander Motel

Friendly staff & the manager was great! We loved how convenient this place was close to the beach and a price we couldn’t beat anywhere else. Room was very clean and housekeeping always came if I or my husband needed them. We were able to just enjoy ourselves and we never were in our room anyways but to sleep. I have read alot of reviews and I don’t think this place gets accurate reviews. Come on people you can’t go to a motel expecting park place treatment for the price you pay. It’s clean, the beds aren’t bad and you come to vacation not stay in the room. It’s really a good place to stay and u will be back.

really bad i’m a nonchalant guy who doesn’t complain but this was crazy,terrible wifi that i had to ask for that we payed extra for, left for the beach in the morning came back to our keycards not working and them infiltrating our room felt like an invasion of privacy and very rude receptionist.

First of all, let me start off by saying Kim and Natasha were great The young man who came in there and fixed my lightbulb he was also very polite OK now if you’re a very picky person, this is not the police for you but if you’re cool and could just go with the flow is perfect for you I didn’t have no issues when I stayed here. The only issue I have was the lightbulb in the bathroom they came and they changed it. The bed was comfortable. My room was clean. My microwave worked my refrigerator worked. I was there for my birthday vacation with my sister oh, the TV didn’t work, but I didn’t go to the beach to watch TV so that didn’t matter to me. but other than that my day was fine. I didn’t have no issues. The pool was nice. I was out there talking to some other guests that was out there. We had a nice time.The area is great it close to everything close to the beach close to some restaurants walking distance to boardwalk & I read the reviews before I even booked the place and I was worried, but now that I went there for myself and I’m not a picky person so I was OK with it. I’m not looking for a five star hotel when I got the place so for the price is good if you want the Hilton go to the Hilton anyway Kim and Natasha thank you very much. I appreciate you ladies
