Ocean Breeze Hotel

The Cove is immaculate!!! Perfect location to the beach and downtown. Micheal (owner) is very accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond. We enjoyed the newly renovated rooms which are tastefully decorated in a minimalist décor. The rooms are spotless, carpet free, and well maintained. The high ceilings and light walls make the small room very bright and cheerful. The large convenient parking lot and spacious, comfortable porch make The Cove a great value. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. We are planning our return. Around the corner, breakfast at Ready's was reasonable, delicious, and like stepping back in time. Lunch at Yianni's was excellent with generous portions.

Our family has been coming to OCNJ for over 60 years as weekly renters. Several of my family members had been to The Cove when it was The Ocean Breeze for 2-4 day stays these last 6 years and it has always been our go-to home away from home. We are continuing that tradition at The Cove, having been down several times between the end of June and this past week. The new owner, Michael, is very nice and the hotel is well maintained. If there's anything you need, you just have to ask. Our stay last week was for 3 nights, and we knew if we needed any housekeeping, extra towels, etc., they were readily availabe upon request. Parking is free and since we booked through The Cove directly, we were given beach tags. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet part of town and is easily walkable to the beach and boardwalk. It is not noisy at night even when full, which is a big plus. The Cove is a great value for the money, having been recently redecorated. The porch is a great place to relax and we always spend an afternoon at the pool. The double queen rooms are a very good size. Our only suggestion is a small chair in the double queen rooms. Thank you to Michael and the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to be back once more this year! Karen, Nancy and Meg.

Had a great stay over the Fourth of July weekend. Location was within easy walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. Pool may look small, but it was never crowded. Rooms were clean and decorated nicely. Front desk service was always accommodating. Since we booked directly, we received beach passes and was given early check-in. Wonderful front porch to relax on. Free ice. Ice cream shop across the street was a nice surprise!
