The Coral Sands Motel

Location is great; short walk to beach and to the boardwalk. Easy to find. However, issues for u: floors in rooms felt dirty on our bare feet, small rooms, very spartan, tough parking for all their rooms, no chain on door, just the locked door. Very nice person at the desk. If you go, suggest you alter your expectations re what to expect. My sense is that the motel owners have no need to scale up or clean better, given the demand of motels near the boardwalk. No, next time, we will look somewhere else.

The cost of this hotel is excellent considering the location. Right over the 9th Street Bridge and one block from the beach and boardwalk, you can't ask for a better location. The room was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We had an issue with our air conditioner that we didn't realise until after 10pm at night. I called, hoping they could give us a fan, as I didn't expect they could fix it at that time of day, but they came with a brand new air conditioner within a half hour. I was so impressed. The owners are very accomidating and kind.

Perfect little getaway place! Beds comfy, bathroom new and modern. A table to eat at. A fridge n micro. Great breakfast place in the motel and parking. Close to beach and boardwalk. Polite front desk. Lots of great businesses nearby. Won't break your bank.
