HAMPTON INN - SUITES NATIONAL

My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites National Harbor for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. This was actually my second time staying at this hotel, and I was happy to return and have another good experience. The location is one of the biggest advantages. It’s very convenient to the main National Harbor area and within easy walking distance of restaurants and other attractions, but it’s still situated on the quieter side, which I really appreciated. Parking was also right around the corner and very convenient. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well maintained. It may not feel brand-new, but everything was updated enough to be comfortable and inviting. Our room was especially spacious and would work well for a couple or even a small family. We had a pullout couch, a small kitchenette area, and a separate dining/seating space, which made the room feel much more functional than a standard hotel room. I’m not sure if there is an option to upgrade to a room with a better view, but our room didn’t really have one. That wasn’t a major issue for us, though, and it didn’t take away from the overall stay. The staff was pleasant throughout our visit. One small touch that would have been nice would be complimentary bottled water at check-in, especially after traveling, but that certainly wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, we had a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. Between the spacious room, cleanliness, walkable location, and quieter atmosphere, Hampton Inn & Suites National Harbor continues to be a solid choice, and I would definitely book again.

We stayed here for a conference at the full Gaylord Convention Center next door. The room and breakfast were fine. But... no safe in room and you need to pay $25 a day for parking, plus the pool was closed indefinitely.

Clean rooms and parking was easy as well
