Location and views were fantastic. Staff were pleasant and polite. But hotel really needs maintenance! Door locks broken, window treatments broken, vents filthy, cabinets broken, light bulbs missing, telephones not working and much more! WiFi does not function. Had to use my hotspot during my stay.

This hotel may be a health hazard. There was significant amount of black mold around the air vents. So bad to a point where the mold is growing on the lamp fabric. Sad part is I gave them a chance to talk to me to ensure this is fixed. No call backs.

Very peaceful serene location. Our room on the 3rd floor had an excellent view of the Potomac River facing south west. Beautiful sunset. Balconies are entirely private. Room decorated nicely with attractive plantation shutters .Facility is very clean and maintained. Only flaws which are minor, deck chair on balcony the foot rest was broken. Air vents have rust spots on them. TV has very basic channels and is hard to navigate no channel menu. Continental breakfast is thoughtful but definitely thrifty. Staff are friendly. Our suite was very roomy. Excellent value for what you get. Choice Hotels definitely has made an effort for comfort and value here.
