I have experienced every level of hospitality from a family-run hostel in Norway to hotels in Russia, Europe, and the USA. With one minor exception, the staff at this hotel were by far the most delightful and helpful. The room cleaners seemed genuinely distressed that I did not need them to clean our room. Unlike many other hotel lines, I did not feel like I was just the most current resident of the box. I will go out of my way to return to these hotels. I also very much like their tip policy. Everyone gets paid, and I can add more if I want.

I had the good fortune to stay at Seaport Hotel last year at this time and my recent second visit was even better than the first...which was excellent. I really prefer the Seaport area now over the historical center as it is much more vibrant. The Seaport Hotel is right in the middle of the great restaurants/shopping/waterfront and they do a terrific job in all aspects of hospitality. We arrived super tired at 2 am after a few flight delays and the front desk staff member could not have been mort gracious. I really enjoy the friendliness and attentiveness of all staff members. Had dinner at Tamo at the hotel and the menu has been substantially upgraded and expanded vs a year ago. The salmon w/ risotto was superb. Natalie was our waitress both nights and she could not have been more helpful The same with Illir our waiter each day at Aura which serves breakfast. Excellent choices/presentation and the weekend brunch buffet is awesome. Housekeeping was efficient and seamless. Room always well stocked. Concierges very helpful and the valet guys are super helpful and very personable. All in all....a terrific 5 days at Seaport Boston.

The Seaport Hotel was very convenient for our stay in Boston. The free SL1 bus from the airport stops just a couple of minutes away, and the Silver Line makes it easy to get to South Station and the rest of the city. Check-in was quick, the Wi-Fi was fast and our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel does feel a little dated overall, though, and the gym, while functional, could also do with an update. The pool was a big plus with children, although it is fairly small and can get busy. It would also be better if the pool and gym opened earlier than 7am, particularly for guests wanting to use them before breakfast or sightseeing. Pressed Cafe was great for breakfast and is only about a 10-minute walk away, heading towards the centre of Boston. Overall, a comfortable and practical hotel with good transport links, though some areas are ready for a refresh.
