Hotel Veritas

I requested a quiet room, and was assigned a room was on the first floor. Every 10 seconds or so there was a low but audible jackhammering sound (something in the HVAC system?) and rumbling in the hours that the T was running. I blasted white noise but it could not mask the sounds. I had a horrible night’s sleep. DO NOT stay here.

I recently stayed at Hotel Veritas and had such an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed without feeling overdone. It’s in a great location, making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants and explore the area. What really made the stay stand out, though, was the service. From the beginning, Chris was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend Hotel Veritas to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay. The combination of location, atmosphere, and exceptional service—especially thanks to Chris—made it a memorable visit.

This boutique hotel is a gem near Harvard Square. Affordable and with a great location (only a few minutes' walk from the only Starbucks in the area and to a neighborhood market), this is going to be a new regular for me. The room was spotlessly clean, and the service was outstanding. They have valet parking in their garage, which is a real plus. The T runs near the hotel, but it didn't disturb a good night's sleep in the comfy bed. The rooms are cozy yet comfortable, with everything you need, and the lobby features a welcoming fireplace and places to sit and chat. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
