I booked this hotel through the Chase Sapphire Reserve travel portal. Big mistake. The property was listed as an IHG hotel, but in reality it appears to be a Best Western undergoing renovation. At no point during booking or before arrival was there any mention of the ongoing construction. There were exposed construction materials throughout the property, which made for a very different experience than what was advertised. The staff were friendly, but check-in and billing was a disorganized mess. My reservation was prepaid through the travel portal, yet the hotel would not provide a room key until I put down a credit card. During check-in, I noticed that nearly all of the information associated with my reservation was incorrect. Aside from my name, everything else was wrong, including my state of residence, phone number, and email address. The front desk assured me they would correct the information and told me not to worry. Given that I do not have a particularly common name, it seemed unlikely that this was simply someone else's reservation. The room itself was very basic, but at least it was clean and decently quiet. Breakfast was dismal and served in a cramped space labeled "Conference Room" that opened directly into another room filled with cleaning supplies. The setup felt more like a temporary arrangement than a proper breakfast area. After check-in, I contacted my travel portal, and they told me they would work with the hotel to resolve the payment issues. At checkout, the front desk informed me that they had successfully authorized the prepaid reservation and that the additional charges would be removed. A few days later, however, I discovered that a different amount had posted to my card under "Holiday Inn". They effectively charged me for this stay twice. I have since initiated a chargeback. Between the undisclosed construction, inaccurate reservation information, and ongoing billing problems, I would seriously recommend staying away. It is not worth the headache.

Under Construction. Hard to navigate. Was not told under construction. Got a surprise bill for a tv damage fee of $500.00. The tv did not work the nite I was there. This past Friday nite. I did not damage the tv. They hit my debit card for a fee without notification. The tv had issues. Would not call me back. Will file a suit if not reimbursed. Sounds like. Ascam

This is a hotel that on the highway but tucked away enough that you don’t hear the cars. We came in early March, so my review will Be different than those who come during the summer. The hotel was quiet and clean. It is very well maintained. The lobby doubles as their breakfast area. The breakfast comes with the cost of your stay. It’s not the biggest breakfast spread I’ve ever had but it covers all the essentials It has something for everyone and you won’t go hurry. Breakfast at the time of this review is served from 6 am to 9:30 am. So it’s great for early risers. I needed to set an alarm to make it in time. I like that coffee/tea is available at all times. Our room was a good size. The bathroom is a little tight but there is a sink just outside for you to get ready while someone else is showering. I found the bed to be very comfortable. We got a room with two beds. There was a nice desk area and a small table and chairs to sit at. Plenty of lighting and plugs for all your devices. There was a nice sized TV but the cable channel we were trying to watch was a little glitchy. There is a large pool right off the lobby. We didn’t use it but it definitely looked inviting. I didn’t notice the hot tub, but there is a shower in the pool area to get the chlorine off. There are elevators and Dollie’s to bring your stuff up to the room. There are only two that I saw so it’s first come first served. We were on the top floor in the corner so we didn’t hear any of our neighbors. I will say that there was a surprise fee of $70 that we didn’t know about as a security deposit for the room. I get that this is necessary but I wish it was included on their list of fees because I had not prepared for it and that took away from my fun money. They said I would get it back if we didn’t wreck the room so we’ll see. Overall this was a great hotel for us And I would recommend.
