Hyannis Travel Inn

So I hadn't stayed here for about 15 or so years and I'm not sure much has changed in that time, I'd go 3.5 if I could. It's a little dated and not the bargain it once was, but it's super convenient, pretty well-priced, has a VERY nice owner and most of the employees were helpful. I had issues with the internet when I first tried to get on, finally after restarting my computer we got things going but it happened again by the pool. It just seemed to take a lot of extra effort. Speaking of the pool, I had never seen one padlocked until you asked to use it. Maybe something happened with people getting in there before, but it was locked well into the morning. The toilet is one of those that barely comes up to your knees so you're getting your deep knee bends in. Products, towels and bedding were adequate. Breakfast seemed fine but I only get juice; did seem odd to not have a restroom by that area and the indoor pool. But for someone who likes to hang out on the main drag of Hyannis, it can't be beat.

We enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is one block from the main street. Good value compared to most locations on a Cape Cod Friday night. Good continental breakfast. Best part - the staff hands down!

What a pleasant surprise! We stayed at the Travel Inn in Hyannis after attending a wedding in Nantucket -- in order to save some money. The Inn cost literally 1/5th of what we paid in Nantucket. The Travel Inn is an older looking motel, one block from main street -- and we thought it was great, and a great deal. The room was clean and comfortable, the TV worked well, the shower was fine, the towels were fine (not what we'd expect if we were paying three times as much, but for this level of motel, quite fine), the free continental breakfast was extensive and very good, and the staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful. No criticisms at all.
