Knights Inn North Attleboro

Room was extremely Smokey despite their being a $250 fine for smoking on sight. The hotel offered some spray but it was ineffective. Room had a bathtub but no drain stopped and when asked they said they didn’t have any. Poor.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! DO NOT SEARCH FOR YOUR HOTEL BY LOWEST PRICE FIRST...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...PLEASE PLEASE KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SAFE AND CHOOSE A REPUTABLE HOTEL SUCH AS MARRIOTT ...THE EXTRA MONIES ARE WORTH IT!!!!!!!! First off we arrive and out in the parking lot we already felt sketchy...broken down vehicles, one up on blocks....it looked as though trash had been cleaned from a room as two full bags were left in what would pass as a flower garden right outside our front door...when we were gathering up our stuff to bring in people stared at us from their room with their door open as though WE were intruders....filthy sidewalks...unkempt and unsupervised children older and small running through and riding their bikes in parking lot.... We checked in and were given a ground level king non smoking room which WAS what we had reserved...the front door of the room was dented on the outside as though someone had punched it or hit it with something several times...the door to the bathroom looked like it had been destroyed by something and a sheet of plywood was screwed in over top of it in a cheaply made repair...the living area chair was filthy....the table top with two chairs were sticky....the tv did not keep signal and shut on and off every few seconds...the bed sheets were stained...there was toothpaste under sink..makes ya wonder...the floor throughout looked as though it had not been mopped....we did not see any bugs but worried nonetheless... This place was so noisy and we had what we assumed were long term renters/loiterers sitting outside of our door in lawn chairs...laughing..talking..yelling...sleep was impossible... We did not try the phone so no comment on that.... The microwave was rusty and filthy...the refrigerator was dirty, something spilled and an attempt looked to be made to wipe it up... The walls were disgusting...paint chipped...poor attempt had been made to repaint.... The inside of the front door was dented as well...lock did not half work...a chain was provided at top..did not feel safe.. Room was warm at check in..we had to turn ac to proper temp before leaving for dinner... With the exception of just a few items...all else we bothered to bring in the room was discarded in the trash .... The nicest thing to say was shower water was hot... To summarize we checked in roughly around 3, went shopping and out to dinner...came back showered and laid in bed until we decided to leave for the night at 7:30 We DID get our 40.00 deposit back immediately and are currently seeking a full nights refund of 169.99 ..attempts for this so far unsuccessful.... A last regret is we did not take photos...we just wanted out....horrible stay...horrible experience...staff rude...

As a smoker, you're always attracted to hotels/motels that still have 'smoking rooms' in this day and age in America. And it was ridiculously cheap compared to the 4-star hotel I stayed in the night before. In most instances, you get what you pay for. What I got was a CLEAN room, bedding, bathroom, etc. A microwave and fridge that were included unlike the additional fees I had to pay for both the night before. Plenty of places right on the main road to get food, coffee, fuel, etc. Security was my issue as I was traveling with an expensive "classic car" for car shows, I was able to park it right in front of my room, it was fine. And at night that parking lot was lit up like Fenway Park for a night game. This is a much older cut-rate facility, don't compare it to your last stay at a Hilton or Four Seasons. No one is having a wedding reception here or going on vacation with the family and staying here. Its a place to sleep for the night and take a shower while you're in town, or going to the Patriot's game the next day, as most in attendance were. It was noisy until about 11pm. An additional 'security fee' is charged at check in, looking forward to that being reimbursed on my credit card today. If I had to, I'd stay here again.
