Great hotel! Lovely, clean, good food, great location! A great stay and we will be back! The gift shop is not connected with the hotel, but were very disappointed that the gift shop was never open during our four-day stay.

Lovely hotel with exceptionally sweet staff. Room are comfortable but bathrooms quite small. I would come back. And delicious cocktails!

Great and central location to everything in downtown Salem and the wharf. Never further than 5-10 min to 15-20 min walk from most major things. We rented a car for another location we are visiting and parking was free. No issues there. Very nice cause bathrooms are hard to find so having one here in lobby and room was great. Free water at the desk also. Elevators were both working and not too long of a wait to use them. We felt that the air/heating should be updated. As it is an old building we understand it can’t be but we were continuously hot and cold without a happy medium. Was humid in the room at times. Otherwise we enjoyed our room and beds were comfortable and cozy place to stay. We ate here and the food was good too. I will say at times the doors slamming at night in the halls was loud and the door rattled so bring earplugs. We would stay here again and recommend the hotel.
