Can’t sleep and wish I was home. Thought the sheets were clean at first but when I opened them more I found otherwise. Not taking a picture because I’m trying to keep the filth covered and away from me. Do have a picture of the cobweb, stain on the rug and cigarette burn on the spread.

closet doesn't have bar to hang clothes on. police activity when I used the bath, they told me to stop because it was leaking into the downstairs room, and asked me to move rooms after I moved to a new room, I turned on a wall lamp and it came off the wall. moved to another room. decrepit facility, paint peeling.dirty AC unit keeps going after being turned off, have to unplug it. no shade on lamp. no blankets for bed ,"because the customers steal them" vinyl pillows

This is your basic motel. No frills no extravagance. EconoLodge is at the bottom of the chain of Choice hotels. So i was expecting much. They have smoking and non smoking rooms. Inside and outside corridors. They offer a cold minimal breakfast and hot fresh coffee. If you are looking for more of eggs and such then walk up the road to iHop which is only a minutes walk. The hotel sits in a business area and with the many security cameras facing the parking lot and in the hallways, i never felt like i had to worry. We were first checked into rm 134 which was a single Queen bed but we needed two beds. Nicole was polite enough to change us into rm 122. I needed a few more towels and pillows and Sam the night auditor was prompt with getting me what i needed. With his smile and easy to talk to attitude i can see a manger in him. I hope that Raymond D knows what an incredible employee he has. Cause it was Sam who made this stay worth while. I will say that some attention to detail needs to be put on the rooms and if things get taken care of i see this property bloom. If you are looking for a 3 star hotel move on up the road. This place is just a simple motel with friendly front desk staff and clean rooms.
