AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel after spending over $2,500 here. My partner and I were wrongfully removed and banned based on false accusations from a late-night front desk employee. We were accused of fighting, which was completely untrue. The situation actually began due to a misunderstanding. My partner jokingly told the front desk earlier that I was not allowed to get a key, and the front desk manager apparently wrote this in the system as if it were serious. When I returned later and tried to get a key to our room, I was denied access and treated as if I had done something wrong. Instead of handling the situation professionally by simply asking me to return to my room or clarifying the misunderstanding, the employee was rude, demanding, and escalated the situation unnecessarily by calling the police. I am currently pregnant and was already having a difficult day emotionally, and this situation turned into chaos for absolutely no reason. What makes this even more upsetting is that during our stay we witnessed other guests being loud, irate, and disrespectful toward the front desk manager, yet they were not removed or banned from the hotel. Meanwhile, my partner—who did absolutely nothing wrong—was also banned along with me. That feels extremely unfair and discriminatory. To make matters worse, we were placed in room 322 where there was visible black mold growing around the bathroom sink and in the shower. As a pregnant woman, this is a serious health concern. I never complained about the condition of the room during our stay because I did not want to cause problems, but looking back I should have reported it. Because of this situation, we were unable to stay the night and were not refunded for the night we could not use. After spending thousands of dollars here, being treated this way and then told we could never return is unacceptable. Overall, this experience left me feeling disrespected, discriminated against, and extremely upset. I am currently exploring legal action regarding how this situation was handled. I would strongly recommend management review their staff training, professionalism, and the conditions of their rooms to prevent future guests from going through what we experienced.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT BOOK HERE. This place is in an extremely poor state, no maintenance has been done, and the rooms are absolutely gross. We walked into our room and decided to leave right away. The headboard had drips and dirt, the toilet was not cleaned, the sink had hair on it, and the room smelled like cigarettes. Who knows when was the last time the room was cleaned. Spare yourself from catching something from staying here. I do not even know how a place like this is allowed to operate. Look elsewhere, spend the extra money, be safe.

HORRIBLE STAY!! My husband and his mother booked here for one night.. when they got to their room there was bugs in the shower and between the shower curtains and dirty linens on the bed. They went to the desk to leave and ask for a refund as they were not going to stay, no refund was offered and no credit was given. Would not recommend this hotel!!
