11 at night got to hotel - proactively went to front desk and asked if there are bottled waters in room - Was told no worries they are in the refrigerator - of course no waters in the refrigerator - no problem - I will call down - they said they would bring one up for $5 - kind of cheap but okay , said no problem 12:00 midnight still no waters - so say no worries I will go to the lobby and get my $5 water get to the lobby then tell me they have no access to the water - not making this up — said they told me this on the phone and a couple other lies - berating me for wanting water - anyway still in lobby as I write this - oh no water :)

Staff was outstanding management, reception and valets. Cleanliness- Exterior, lobby, elevators hallways and rooms were meticulously clean. Room/suite was spacious, beds comfortable and very quiet. Location was ideal in Greektown, near ballparks and a wide selection of restaurants. Very safe walkable area in Downtown. We were very pleasantly surprised by our chosen stay for 2 nights. We attended a baseball game at Comerica park and also spent a day at Greenfield village.

The check in was friendly and quick. I went up to the room to find that the entrance and bathroom are on one level and then there are 3 steps down to the bed area, which with suitcases and the space of the stairway was not easy The room is quite large and well maintained. The bed comfortable and clean. The bathroom looks like it has had some improvements made The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the convention center and apart from some roadworks nearby it is a pleasant walk with a few cafes to get breakfast along the way. The hotel has a nice restaurant in back that’s definitely worth a visit. Checking out was not as good as checking in, there were some issues with printing the receipt so I had to ask for it to be sent to me. But in all a well located and nice stay
