Homewood Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids

It was a great trip I've enjoyed it however I didn't receive the deposit

First, the property is falsely advertised; it is not a Hilton property, though it may have been years ago. Furthermore, contrary to its four-star rating on TripAdvisor, the accommodations did not meet those standards. Our room and the adjacent hallway had a pervasive smell of deodorizer, which appeared to be used to mask the scent of smoke. This experience has been very misleading and has significantly diminished my trust in TripAdvisor's ratings.
