Ramada Waterfront Of Hancock

My husband and I spent one night here. The hotel is a bit dated but we still really liked it. The location is great! Right next to the big bridge going over to Houghton. I loved staying right alongside the waterfront . There was a dock we could walk out on. I swam in the indoor pool and used the hot tub. The pool was really big. One of those older style pools that actually has a deep end. Our room was basic but clean. The front desk attendant was friendly and prompt. This hotel was very quiet the night we stayed (midweek in July).

I needed to reschedule the day off because of weather delays the night before forced my trip a day off. I was going to pictured rocks sunset tour and thunder storms came through. So i contacted hotels.com who I booked through and they contacted the general manager Brandi and she refused. So i contacted Natalie at the hotel who was super helpful and she again tried Brandi the general manger and she refused again. I didnt want want to have to drive 2 hours and 45 minutes in unfamiliar territory at 11pm to the hotel. So thank god I was able to reschedule my boat tour again because this crappy general manager has no compassion. Then when I got there. There is no elevator. One washer one dryer. The lake view is like a river. The location is kinda crappy for getting in and out of. Natalie is the saving grace. Hotel parking lot was dirty and lines not very clear. Trash overflowing. Lighting in bathroom in the room not great. One light switch did nothing. Wifi slow.

We were here for an overnight stay. Clean and very nice hotel. Great pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay here again
