American Boutique Inn Lakeview

The roam was clean but property needs to update locks. I didn’t think anyone used an actual key anymore. The plug in on the lamp didn’t work to charge phone and no outlet near nightstand. There wasn’t any coffee in room and only 2 bath towels. The desk closes at 10:30 so it was too late to get help. It’s a stretch to say lakeview, as it is a small section where the lake can be viewed. It is misleading and sounds like it’s on the beach. We were notified by text the morning before we arrived that there was no elevator and would have to climb up a flight of stairs with all our luggage n cooler. We were offered a room on first floor if that was a problem. It should be told when booking room. We would not have stayed there if we knew before hand.

We spent a night here after returning from the island. The motel is very clean as are the rooms. The pool area is nice and well kept. There is plenty of parking. If returning to the area I would definitely stay here again. It’s a nice short walk down to the bridge.

A lovely 2 night stay. I booked a room with 2 double beds. It was a very compact room, clean, neat and served my needs during my stay. Always appreciate a refrigerator in the room. Fairly quiet, did not hear any of the other guests despite the motel being full. Conveniently located near all the town has to offer. I was able to walk to the ferry although there is a free shuttle. Upon arriving, I was able to catch a stunning sunset and views of the bridge and lighthouse. My only complaint would be there was no luggage rack or place for a suitcase. There was a very nice bureau but as my stay was short I did not want to unpack my suitcase. However, I improvised and I would not allow that from stating that this was a great place to stay.
