This lodge deserves 10/10 and MORE! The staff, the cleanliness, the entertainment level! We have been to a handful of GWLs and Traverse City is hands down our favorite so far! A MUST visit location for all families! Close enough to the bay to experience all the fun at GWL and the beauty of the bay with a short 5 minute drive. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation! Will be returning!

Was not impressed at all. Price for a family loft room was over a 1000.00 for less the 10 hours in a room. Check-in at 4 p.m, Check out at 11 a.m. To have a late check out want another 100 on top of 20 dollars per vehicle to park in there parking lot. Toilet backed up. Matinance was call 3 times to come to our room. They never showed up. Hot water didn't work in our room either. Was cash free. Which is b.s. when they offer food and a arcade area. Water park was small and crowded. My family and I will never go there again. Over priced, uncomfortable accommodations. Staff was worthless on helping or coming to fix our Toilet. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone...

I have been coming here for 20 years. I feel the costs from parking to room to meals to Buckhorn are out of reach. We will find a new place for next year can't afford it anymore. Especially when one of your sales staff told us that the parking is a corporate thing and we were told it was because if breaking, he said that is a lie and just what they were told to say. So sad
