Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brainerd-Baxter

This water park is a little in need of renovations, but overall we like it and keep going back. My family loves the lazy river. Room was great.

Great stay, friendly staff. I was traveling to the area with family.

We spent the evening at the water park for a birthday party. My family was ready to get ready to leave so we decided to go shower and get change. There was signs used to hold both locker doors open. There wasn’t anyone there saying that they were out of use! So we decided that it was ok to still use the locker rooms with the other guests. Me and my son went to the men’s and head no issues but my wife and are 5 year old where not so fortunate. The staff came in and said they needed them to leave the locker room but they were already in the shower. They made my wife and are daughter feel like they head no time to get dressed and finish washing the soap off. They tread to finish but anther staff members started yelling at them and said they needed to get out. So they felt obligated to leave the locker room with nothing but their towels. Didn’t tell them that they could stay and get dressed just get out. So they head to go out into the swimming area and try to use the family area but it was already being used. A nice father said he would check the men’s locker room to finish getting dressed where me and my son were still getting dressed. That’s when I found out they kicked my wife and daughter out of the locker room with nothing but a towel on. I helped my wife and daughter finish getting dressed. Then I went to express my concerns about how they headed it and said I wanted to speak to a manager then one of the staff members threaten to call the cops and told me to get out!
