La Quinta Inn & Suites Mpls-Bloomington West

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and this place is definitely the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. Front door of the hotel was broke so we had to enter from the back. Room was not very clean. The morning breakfast had little to be desired. Bread, cereal, coffee and juice. I have stayed at other La Quinta hotels and was very satisfied with the rooms and breakfast, but this one was not even close to the others. This hotel was unacceptable and would recommend that it not be franchised as a La Qunita Inn.

This place was the worst hotel we've ever stayed at. The entire place is desperately in need of repairs, and a thorough deep cleaning. The carpet in hallways was badly stained, and worn. Our room's ceiling was coming down in a couple places. The chairs looked like they'd been chewed on. The shades on lamp were cracked and dented. It was so bad, that I checked bed for bedbugs (didn't find any). On top of the dilapidated condition, they charge your card an extra $100 deposit until they check the room after you check out. We have NEVER had that happen, except when we travel with a pet (which we weren't). Unbelievable that this place is part of major hotel chain.

The staff needs to be more genuine and friendly. They do seem to get a lot of less than desirable crowd at the hotel. I realize there is not a lot ome can do about that.
