Fairfield Inn By Marriott Burnsville

Overall a good stay. Location was great, with nearby restaurants and shopping. Hotel was clean and generally quiet. We could hear the interstate from our room, but turning on the a/c fan to run continuously seemed to drown out most of the noise. Our trip was cut short due to an impending winter storm, and the hotel allowed us to leave after 1 night (I booked for 3 nights) without penalty, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was good - the breakfast sandwiches were very good. There were 4 hot choices, some pastries, and strawberries/grapes. Plus waffle machine. Only complaint is while checking in, it took quite a bit of time for someone to get to the counter. The customer ahead of us had to try calling someone on the lobby phone several times.

We stayed in Room 315 (Suite with King sized Bed) for two nights. The Room was a good size, however the heater had some issues. Loud noises while running it. Checkin was easy and fast. Usually there is nobody at the counter , so you have to use that Lobby phone to call them. Continental breakfast (with eggs, sausages available) was included, but there is also a really good Pancake House just across from the Hotel. Plenty of eatery around the area. We took Uber to the Airport, one way fare was about $30 and took about 20 min.

We stayed one night on way to upper Minnesota and it was delightful. Everything was as planned and the staff was outstanding. Breakfast was one of best I have ever had. Beds are comfy and lines crisp. We were very pleased its was clean and fresh.
