Holiday Inn Bloomington Airport Mall of America

I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn, will stay again if I am in the area and definitely recommend it. It's an older building but it's well kept, modern, clean and the staff is very friendly. I didn't use the pool or shuttle so I can't comment on that. The Green Mill restaurant and bar in the building is wonderful. I do wish that the Green Mill would be open later though. The breakfast buffet for $8.99 is very good and worth it

What a great hotel. We stayed here after our flight was delayed and we were issued vouchers for the night. The room was spacious and looked newly decorated. The shower was amazing.The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff at the front desk at 1:30am was welcoming. In the morning, Stewart, working the front desk in the morning, let us use our airport meal vouchers for a very substantial buffet breakfast.

I don't usually write reviews but as a parent that finds herself traveling with kids in the mid-west, I wanted to let families know that if you want to burn off energy in a nice pool (not huge, but big enough) with a basketball hoop and hot tub that's nice and truly hot (for tired parents) and a very nice indoor pool area, this worked out great. The Green Mill bar/restaurant was nice too, friendly, and a fair number of locals which tells me it's a decent spot to hang.
