Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott St. Paul/Roseville

Wow, what a great hotel. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. The room and hotel were clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was a nice breakfast that was a step up from the usual breakfast at other hotels. A lot of options. Even the staff at the breakfast area were friendly and making sure the guests were taken care of. The location was very good as well. It is rare to have a desk clerk ask about your travel plans for the day but then, ask the next day for pictures of your event. What was even more so interesting was she really was interested. How refreshing to feel that you are an important by actions and a positive attitude.

Our company was there on business to restore electricity to the town after a natural disaster. We booked 10 rooms and several hours later cancelled them due to electric company making other arrangements for all remaining linemen. I called and cancelled the rooms, but they charged for them anyway. I spoke to the owner, Raj and to the GM, Lori and they both refused to refund the money--claiming it was a sold-out night and that they could have rented them to others (that much is true since we canceled the reservations only hours after they were booked)! Terribly customer relations. Our company travels a lot and often. i will NEVER attempt to stay in Minnesota at a Fairfield or a Holiday Inn Express as they are owned by the same person

The lady that checked me in was super friendly. Great customer service. The room was beautiful! I didn’t go to breakfast but loved there was fresh coffee and tea all night. I highly recommend. 🙃🙃🙃🙃
