BEST WESTERN KELLY INN

I booked 2 nights non refundable at the Kelly inn on the river in St. Cloud. I needed a quiet getaway from a very stressful week. I checked in room was clean but questionable. Tried to wash my hands and both sink and shower soap bottles were empty. I called and did received soap. I was ground floor, next to the side entrance door. The entrance door slammed so hard it jolted me every time. Even in the night. The room door was very tight and took a lot of effort to open and close. The toilet rocked when you sat down and I was surprised it wasn’t leaking. I really don’t complain but at 10pm I was woken by slow water drips from the ceiling. I called front desk to alert them requesting a new room in the morning he just said come down in the morning . I was fine sleeping in the other bed- which I didn’t with the entry door slamming off and on. I would have checked out in the mirning but my rate was non refundable. I went to desk very early for a room change. I was moved to 2nd floor and the room is fine. I will never stay here again. The hotel was not busy and to be placed in the worst possible room is uncalled for. No apologies were made. I’m giving a 2 star since the second room was good.

Worst customer service ever. Nicole is rude AF. I booked a room on 4/8 and on 4/22 they called to let me know they canceled my reservation because I live within 20 miles of the location. My daughter turns 10 we planned to have 3 friends come and swim and sleepover. Now we have no where for her party. Thanks for wrecking a 10 year olds birthday.

The hotel was fabulous. The resturaant service was absolutely terrible but the pizza was great. It would be nice if the pool closed at 9 for kids and remained open until midnight for adults only.
