HAMPTON INN MINNEAPOLIS ST PAUL NORTH

We've used this Best Western three years in a row. Year 1 graded A, Year 2 graded B, and year 3 a C-. The last two years our room was so musty, so Humid, we were shocked. Last year They brought in a smaller De-humidifier, then a large one and that cured the problem. This year we wound up with several smaller De-humidifiers. It was better but still musty. Also, I have COPD, and need a chair or bench in the Tub, as I can't stand during a shower. They did put one in, BUT, it collapsed when I first sat on it! Fortunately, I didn't break any bones, but I was stiff for a few days. Also, I noticed I was being charged $150 for what? It turns out the were going to charge me a Pet fee, even though we didn't have a pet! On the Plus side, ANDI, the main person I delt with, was as helpful as she could be. It's not her fault the place had a Humidity problem and the chair was faulty, and even getting charged for a Pet fee which she found and was eliminated. Not sure what we'll do next year.

Very positive experience at Best Western St. Paul North/Shoreview. Clean, comfortable, quiet room, continuous running fan option so there is no "on- off" sounds of heat or AC to disturb by sleep, easy on-off close to 694, unusually good hot breakfast with many choices and freshly cut fresh fruit. Very nice staff. Price was less than comparable hotels in the area. Good exercise room and pool. I definitely recommend it and will come again.

Cold showers and cold hot tub. No answer at the front desk. Stay away from this place.
