QUALITY INN GRENADA

We travel for my husbands work to a different hotel almost weekly. His boss happen to pay for so it was free for us but I would have rather paid. This is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. It is falling apart from the inside out and is the nastiest place I have ever seen. Not to mention unsafe. There is a place on the ceiling where the smoke alarm is supposed to be but not there. Splattered stains on every wall. The caulk around the tub and bathroom floor are black. Most walls have paint peeling or gone. Yellow spots all over the ceiling along with fur growing from the vent fan. Burn marks on the blanket, sheets have cuts and stains and the pillows are the most disgusting things I have ever seen with yellow stains covering them along with stains on the pillow cases. We went to Walmart and bought our own pillows. I’m pretty sure the cover spread on the bed has never been washed. The casing around the refrigerator is falling off the wall. Curtains have stains and the tissue holder is disgustingly nasty with no tissues. The water in the tub comes out yellow and all day and night all you hear are the pipes in the walls rattleing sometimes so loud it sounds like someone is tap dancing upstairs. Atleast I told myself it was the pipes in the walls I heard. There is a bite on the back of my arm and not even sure from what. After having to spend a lot of money at Walmart on cleaning supplies and bed clothes we should have just paid for our own room. The pictures on their add are obviously from when it first opened. I will NEVER stay again if it’s still standing.

Tired of driving and wishing to be walking distance to restaurants, we checkedi in to this motel just after dark. Lobby and check in area was oddly decorated, but clerk was friendly, room rate a little too good to be true. But we needed a pet friendly place and the other nearby motel did not accept pets. We were so tired and the bed was comfortable, made up with clean but tissue paper thin worn out sheets and a cigarette burned bedspread. We stayed and were sorry. Noise from room above sounded like someone salvaging copper pipe, or perhaps an alligator in the tub. All night. Managed to sleep some and got up and left at first light. In the low light of 6 a.m. we could see that the exterior of motel was crumbling worse than interior, trash cans overflowing and garbage everywhere. Not just a bit worn & wanting paint and repair, this motel was dirty.

Place in need of renovation. Guests were smoking marijuana, which doesn't really concern me but the smoke finding its way into our room at 3 am with a 10 month old was concerning. Baby had breathing issues. Staff was very accommodating and very nice.
