Motel 6 Memphis - Horn Lake

When we got in our room, it was 87 degrees in there. We turned on the AC, but it took HOURS to cool off -- and it was very hot outside. TV's didn't work. Exactly 3 tissues in box. Would not recommend this hotel!

Bed bugs!! Thank god I never unpacked. I checked in late night passing through to my next destination. The bed “ looked” clean but noticed it had a bed skirt which I’m sure never gets pulled off and cleaned. I was sitting on the side of the bed and noticed a big bug crawling across the bed. I killed it and immediately went to the front desk. When I notified the lady she immediately grabbed a can of bug spray and followed me to the room. While showing her what I killed another one crawled from the side of the mattress!!! She sprayed it and picked it up with tissue. I told her I would be checking out and if there were a manager and of course there wasn’t. She offered to switch rooms but after that my stay was over. They also promote it being smoke free but smelled nothing but weed in the hallways. This is the first time losing 100+ dollars was actually worth it.

Hornlake Wingate rooms was nice and good customer service and nice help would love to stay again
