Clarion Inn And Summit Center

Some parts of the hôtel are upgraded, but not all. I am not overly impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Only cereals for breakfast, no mill, no coffee, no warm food, nothing! Staff is overwhelmed.

Booked here because the rate was good for a Clarion (thought that was just because it's a small town). However, the rooms were in disrepair and dirty, there was no breakfast out because "the manager doesn't let me put it all out", the breakfast appliances did not work & there were no plates, etc. Check in staff was nice enough, though showed no regret that our first room was a pit, just gave us a different room. Morning staff was nasty! Since our stay, I have seen numerous poor reviews, so not sure how they had a 4 out of 5* rating. Whole place is dingy and needs upgrading. Spend your money elsewhere.

We stayed at the CLarion Inn in Tupelo Mississippi on February 26 2020 an was told there would be a full breakfast an at 7 that morning we went for breakfast they had nothing an we were told they didnt have breakfast anymore. Then after checking out I received a new charge on my credit card for 250 dollars so immediately I called the hotel an the lady I spoke with told me I was charged 250 dollars for smoking in the room I informed her I was not a smoker an nobody had smoked in this room an that they could take this charge off she informed me they wouldnt do it so I had to call my bank an get this charge reversed. We will never again stay at this hotel an I'd advise anyone that goes to tupelo to stay at one of the many other nice hotels in the area. This hotel is a RIP off an finds ways to take money from its customers. Never again!
