Hollister Inn

Clean, quiet, conveniently located, very good value for money. Staff was helpful and friendly. I've found the right place to stay in Hollister.

We just checked out. We were looking for a cheap stay for just one night to attend a wedding. We were not expecting much. The hotel itself is as expected, a little dated and could use some love. But I’m writing this review because we received great service from the two men at the front desk. We arrived much earlier than we had planned since we were expecting traffic. They checked on our room and since it was ready allowed us to check in pretty early! We came in for the breakfast the next morning and the man kindly restocked the things I was looking for even though I had shown up just minutes before breakfast was ending. They asked multiple times if everything was ok with our room and were very kind. The rooms for the price we paid, if say could definitely use improvement. But overall good experience!

We stayed only one night on a road trip to Yosemite. The girl on the reception desk was not friendly. The room was not huge but there was enough space to put our luggage and there was a small dining table and chairs. The quality of the linen was average, the airconditioner very old and noisey the bathroom is in bad condition with paint pealing off the bath and mould around the bath. The toilet was very noisey. Breakfast is provided but the selection is small. Although the price is good we would not stay here again.
